Southern Institute of Maritime Studies - practicum at Sulpicio Lines vessel "MV Princess of the South

On 29th January 2010, the participants of SIMS's Crowd and Crisis Management (a maritime training courses) held their practicum at Sulpicio Lines vessel the "Princess of the South".

The vessel was docked at Pier 6 in North Harbor Manila when the students from Crowd and Crisis and other maritime training courses held their practicum there in the early morning of 29th January 2010. The training courses is required for seafarers boarding international or domestic cruise or passenger ships.

The instructor is Chief Mate Galang, and I sailed with him in the year 1985 in a Greek-owned ship but manned by all-Filipino crew.
