24th October 2009
I have been in " Nayong Pilipino sa Clark Expo " about a year ago when it’s construction is still not completed. Today the 24th of October, I went back there since I am curious if there is anything new.
In the new " Nayong Pilipino" there were many native Filipino houses. There were also replicas of Spanish houses, churches, and views of various regions of the Philippines. And there is an aunthetic Ifugao hut with native Ifugao cloth weavers as I overheard their distinct dialect. I talked to the two women cloth weavers and really they were authentic natives of Ifugao. It was fun and educational going there at Nayong Pilipino.
The Nayong Pilipino sa Clark Expo is a fully-developed cultural theme park with all its attractions that include a museum, native houses, arts and crafts centers of the Northen and Southern Philippines, restaurants, meditation gardens and special features for events, exhibits and cultural performances.
